Humans, including myself, never realize the scale of a problem until they see it with their own eyes, and I did. I am a certified diver and have been diving for almost 5 years now. I have seen beautiful dive sites full of life and diversity as well as dive sites that can only be described as "empty and dying". I have seen rays trapped in fishing nets and left to die, ghost nets covering miles and miles of corals, Whale sharks with scars from speed boats, the impact of bomb fishing on turtles while being underwater, plastic bottles everywhere, and I can tell you that it is ugly.. We have harmed our ocean in a way that calls for an immediate intervention!

The sad part is that Humans still don't realize that our oceans are crucial to our existence! No oceans, No life.. As simple as that..
