My whole life I’ve loved animals, nature, and planet earth as a whole. Most days I feel like I have no impact, like I should be doing more. I want to be out there, researching, advocating, and fighting for this place that we call home. However, knowing that even one small change or one small action in my day to day life can make a big difference. If I can inspire others to make one small choice a day, then I know I’ve made a difference. I encourage you to take a small action today to help our planet. From donating $5, bringing your own straw or saying no to that plastic bag in the grocery store, that’s one less piece of trash in our ocean. If each of my friends make that choice, even just one conscience choice a day, we together can make a HUGE difference.
I just finished watching Mission Blue and felt so inspired to do something, anything. There are so many resources that we have access to to make a difference. I went on the site and thought, “well, if you don’t try, you’ll never know”. So here I am trying to do my part!
